Feast of the Holy Trinity

Feast of the Holy Trinity

On May 31st 2015, the day of the Holy Trinity (Pentecost), in Cathedral of the Iver Icon of the Mother of God of St. Nicholas Perervinsky monastery a vigil was held, which was led by the monastery, Rector of the Perervinsky Seminary, Archpriest Vladimir Chuvikin.
Immediately after the Divine Liturgy in commemoration of the descent of the God’s Holy Spirit onto the Apostles, a Vespers was carried out during which there was a reading of three prayers requiring kneeling. Father Vladimir together with the clergy of the church lead the liturgy, as well as Rector of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Johannesburg, Archpriest Danil Lugovoy, who was once an altar boy and a reader at the St. Nicholas Perervinsky monastery in the early 90s before he entered the seminary in Moscow.
