{"id":2931,"date":"2023-02-19T10:53:00","date_gmt":"2023-02-19T08:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.st-sergius.info\/?p=2931"},"modified":"2024-02-16T10:56:15","modified_gmt":"2024-02-16T08:56:15","slug":"nachalo-masleniczy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.st-sergius.info\/en\/nachalo-masleniczy\/","title":{"rendered":"The beginning of Cheese Fare Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Sunday, 19 February after the end of the service in the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh a traditional holiday dedicated to the beginning of Cheese Week - Shrovetide was held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Traditional fun, games and contests were organised for children, such as: relay races, tug of war, sack race.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A traditional tea party with a real samovar was held in the parish centre.
