From 26 to 28 March, Archpriest Daniel Lugovoi, rector of the Cathedral of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Johannesburg and interim rector of the parish of Archangel Michael in Lusaka, visited Zambia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 26 March Archpriest Daniel Lugovoi met with Zambians at the invitation of S. N. Kovaleva, Representative of Rossotrudnichestvo and Head of the Russian House in Zambia. During the conversation Father Daniel spoke about Russia, Orthodoxy, the role of the Orthodox faith in the formation of Russian culture and the historical image of Russian society. The participants asked many questions, from topics related to life in Russia to questions about Orthodox Christianity and spiritual life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 27 March Archpriest Daniel Lugovoy administered the Sacrament of Soboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On 28 March, Saturday, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the Church of the Archangel Michael in Lusaka. The rector of the parish was accompanied by the dean of parishes of the Diocese of South Africa in Zambia, Priest John Musonda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the end of the service, a tea party was held. Father Daniel gave the blessing of the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Constantine of Cairo and North Africa.
