Sunday School

The Sunday School at the Church of the Venerable Sergius of Radonezh opened at the beginning of Lent 2005.

Lessons are taught in Russian.

Lessons start at 12:30. They end at 14:00.

Lessons in the Orthodox Faith

Children learn the basics of the Orthodox faith, the structure of the temple, get acquainted with the Church Slavonic language, the life and teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Cartoon Nativity of Christ

Sunday school students, under the guidance of Matushka Elena, created a cartoon for the feast of the Nativity of Christ in 2024. Pictures were drawn, an audio file was prepared, and the film was edited. The cartoon was presented on 14 January 2024 during the festive performance of the Sunday school.

Lessons in creativity

Sunday school students under the guidance of teachers make various crafts, create cartoons on Gospel stories, participate in the production of Christmas and Easter plays.

The temple through the eyes of children

On Sunday, 31 March 2024, an outdoor mastichin painting workshop was organised for the students of the senior group of our Sunday school. It was amazing to see how different students saw the same place in different ways, each through the prism of their own individuality.
