On Sunday, 8 March, after the Divine Liturgy, several interesting events took place in the parish Sunday School.
The first chess championship was held among the Sunday school children. The chess club at the parish is led by the parish headman Sergey Vyborov, thanks to whose efforts the children have the opportunity to get acquainted with this wonderful game that develops attention, diligence and thinking skills.
Sunday school students took part in the championship. All the children proved themselves worthy, and the competition was a tense and exciting struggle. We congratulate all the participants of the first parish chess championship and wish them further success.
The children also had a bead weaving class that day. Under the guidance of Xenia and Matushka Elena, the Sunday school children made trinkets and other crafts. Such activities not only bring joy to the children, but also contribute to the development of fine motor skills, attentiveness, patience and accuracy.
