The service in Durban
On 8 November 2025, the feast day of the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica, Archpriest Daniel Lugovoy, the superior of the parishes of the South African Diocese in South Africa, rector of the Cathedral of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Johannesburg, celebrated a divine service in Durban.
At the end of the service, Father Daniel delivered a pastoral address to all those gathered.
Afterwards, a common meal was held, during which everyone was able to have a warm and heartfelt chat together.
