On Saturday 5 April, the Feast of the Praise of the Most Holy Theotokos, Archpriest Daniil Lugovoy, rector of the Cathedral of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Johannesburg, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia.
Dmitry Anatolievich Lobach, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Namibia, staff of the Russian Embassy, members of the Russian-speaking diaspora prayed at the service. Also, Namibians interested in the Orthodox faith were present.
Then a tea party was held. The participants talked to each other, discussed pressing issues of Christian life and plans for the development of the life of the Orthodox community in Namibia.
The day before, the Akathist to the Most Holy Mother of God was read.
