On Sunday 17 November Archpriest Daniel Lugovoy celebrated Matins and the Divine Liturgy.
After the end of the service, events organised by the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office and the Russian Embassy in honour of the Day of National Unity took place on the territory of the Cathedral of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
Vladimir Yakovlev, Counsellor-Minister of the Embassy, Archpriest Daniel Lugovoi, rector of the parish, and Yuri Gerasimov, representative of Rossotrudnichestvo, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
Then a festive concert was held. Embassy staff and students of the Russian Embassy School performed. Poems, songs and musical compositions sounded brightly. Young students of the ballet school performed dances.
The celebration concluded with a meal in the Parish Centre.
