On Sunday 2 June, the parish Sunday School hosted a fascinating master show on modern technology. The pupils were given a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the work of a 3D printer.
During the event, the children were told about the device and the principle of operation of the 3D printer. Georgiy Kochukov, Chairman of the South African CSRSA, who led the master show, explained in detail how this innovative technique creates three-dimensional objects from digital models using various materials.
A real-time demonstration of a 3D printer was held. Pupils were able to see the entire process of creating an item from preparing a model design to printing. The children were given the opportunity to touch and examine the finished products.
We thank all the participants and organisers for this wonderful event and look forward to more meetings and workshops!
