On 25 June 2024, the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Constantine of Zaraisk, visited the parish of St. Thomas the Apostle in Bloemfontein, South Africa, where he celebrated a prayer service in honour of the Holy Apostle.
His Eminence was concelebrated by the dean of the parishes of the South African Diocese in South Africa, archpriest Daniel Lugovoy, and the rector of the parish, priest Johann Rossouw.
The service was conducted in Church Slavonic, English and Afrikaans.
After the joint prayer, Metropolitan Konstantin delivered an archpastoral address and greeted the rector and the parishioners.
Then the archbishop presented the parish with an icon of Saint Thomas the Apostle and items for baking prosphora.
