On Saturday 18 November, Archpriest Daniel Lugovoy celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of St. Mark the Apostle in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. The Coptic community hospitably provided its church for the service, after which the rector of the parish, Father John Wasfi, warmly welcomed the congregation.
Dmitry Anatolievich Lobach, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Namibia, employees of the Russian Embassy, members of the Russian-speaking diaspora of Namibia prayed at the service.
Then a tea party was held in the courtyard of the church. The Orthodox communicated with each other, shared news, discussed pressing issues of Christian life and set a date for the next service.
