Archpriest Daniil Lugovoy, Dean of the South African Diocese parishes in South Africa, Rector of the Cathedral of St Sergius of Radonezh in Johannesburg, and Acting Rector of the Parish of the Archistratig of God Michael in Lusaka, has visited Zambia.
On 31 July, a moleben with an akathist to Venerable Seraphim of Sarov was held in the Church of the Archangel Michael.
On 1st August, on the feast of the uncovering of the relics of the Venerable Seraphim of Sarov, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated. All those gathered took part in the singing during the service and partook of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, there was tea and a conversation with the parishioners. The participants of the meeting discussed the current life of the community and future plans for the development of liturgical and parish activities in Lusaka.
