From 3 to 4 December 2025, the capital of Tunis hosted the XXXI International Conference «The End of Globalism and the Future of the World - Meanings and Values of the Coming Era», organised by the International Foundation for the Spiritual Unity of Peoples.
The event was led by the President of the Foundation, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of the Faculty of Philosophy of Lomonosov Moscow State University V.A. Alekseev and the Patriarchal Exarch of Africa, Metropolitan Constantine of Cairo and North Africa.
The guest of honour was Jovan Janic, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Serbia.
Metropolitan Constantine read a greeting from Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, Chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, and delivered a message.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches, as well as clergy of the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa, the Middle East and Hungary, members of national parliaments, public and political figures, scholars and publicists.
Dozens of reports were delivered during the two days of the conference. The participants noted the high significance of the events aimed at strengthening the historical, cultural and spiritual unity of peoples, promoting moral and family values, educating young people and developing humanitarian co-operation.
On 4 December, on the feast of the Presentation of Our Most Holy Lady, the Theotokos, and Our Lady Mary, Metropolitan Constantine led the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Tunis.

At the end of the service, Archpriest Dimitri Netsvetayev welcomed Vladyka Constantine.
Metropolitan Constantine gave an archpastoral address and congratulated all those present on the feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Exarch presented the rector of the parish, Archpriest Demetrius Netsvetayev, with a pectoral cross with jewellery, and the parish with a chalice and a lamp.
Also during the trip, participants visited the ruins of ancient Carthage, one of the main attractions of Tunisia.
