On the Throne Feast of the Cathedral of St Sergius of Radonezh the children from the Sunday school prepared a special surprise - two large decorative plates, which they themselves invented, painted and painted!
Work on the project began back in June: under the guidance of parishioner Anna, the children thought up a plot, applied drawings on ceramics, and selected colours. After firing in the workshop, the plates became durable and bright and now decorate the refectory of the cathedral.
One plate is dedicated to Easter, the other to the Nativity of Christ. In the centre of each is an image of the Cathedral of St. Sergius, and around it are scenes and symbols of the holidays.
The presentation took place at a festive meal after the Divine Liturgy. These plates will become not only a decoration of the parish centre, but also a testimony to the lively participation of young parishioners in the life of the parish.
Thank you to all the participants - for the joy you gave!
